AREAS OF COMPETITION
Each preliminary/local/state/regional titleholder will be evaluated during the national pageant by the selection panel in the following areas:
35% Personal Interview (10 minute panel style based on submitted paperwork)
20% Community Impact & Service Video
(3 1/2 minute self produced video summarizing your lifelong body of community service)
15% Evening Gown (Floor length formal gown of choice)
15% Runway (Inspired by a famous black woman)
10% Fitness Wear (All categories wear black bottoms & divisional color top)
5% Photogenic (8x10 color photo presented in person to judges after interview)
*** ON-STAGE QUESTION *** The top 10 in each division will answer an OSQ. The OSQ score is added to the sum total score of all other categories to determine the final winner for the national title.
